Savannah, GA 2007

Although none of these pictures even come close to showing how much fun we had on our trip to Savannah, I included a few for your viewing pleasure. After missing a 6:00 a.m. flight on Friday morning, we finally arrived in Savannah on a few prayers and a little bit of luck! My mother went to catch up with April and Byron and I with Susannah Grace and Jay. They are so sweet and intelligent and their nickname for me is "Baby Bumblebee." Barbara was there too as an extra set of hands and I found my mother passing me off to her quite frequently.

Savannah is the most gorgeous southern town (according to my mother and she knows southern) and I am dying to return. Lisa O'Beirne and her boyfriend Todd came down for the day from Charleston, another place we are very much wanting to visit. You see, I am straight up Midwest and I have to visit these places in order to see what all the fuss is about. They are everything I expected and more.

Meal after meal, our gracious hostess April cooked to impress. Beware Paula Dean! We returned safely back to St. Louis last night both carrying a few more pounds between the two of us.
