Milwaukee Weekend

And who says there is nothing to do in Milwaukee, Wisconsin? We had a lovely time on our family weekend getaway. Where else could you have 2 queen-sized beds pushed together for jumping?
We stopped off in Springfield to check out the presidential library. Dad had all the Griswald family vacation spots mapped out. Here we are trying to see how we measured up to the Lincoln family. No trip would be complete without a sporting event. We saw the Brewers beat the Nationals 6-0.
This is Rosie the duck that was a famous Milwaukee River guest.
Francis had a great time doing whatever it is she does in that car seat of hers.
We checked out the beach area on Lake Michigan. I am sure these people have never been to Destin. If they had, they may never return. But, it was pretty cool; temperature wise, too.

No visit to the library would be complete without dressing in some period pieces.
We call this one, Franaham Lincoln.
The Brewers fans really liked the fact that we came sporting our Cardinal gear. They were good sports about it.
Fran sure sleeps a lot!

I enjoyed the architectural boat tour. The boat even made a special "u-turn" to come back and get us since we missed the 1:00 departure.

This one is kind of cheesy, I know.
